What is Comparison View?

The Comparison view is one of the most helpful data visualizations available, as it allows users to compare two sets of information with a single glance. Users can instantly see how their page compares in terms things like bounce rates or time spent on-site compared to an average user, and even check out trends such as changing device use over time.

You may want to compare your metrics against the history of your site if you have enabled the “Compare to Past in Date Range.” This will provide a more accurate picture since it is comparing all data points, not just averages for each metric.

In our example, the green color shows how much more time people are spending on this page when compared to the site’s average. This means that it is a very popular page and visitors spend longer than usual browsing through its content.
